Audiometry and Hearing
Periodic vision screening is an essential part of occupational health program. Many health standards require binocular vision tests as a minimum means of adequately checking the vision of employees which use mobile equipment, work in hazardous environments, and wear personal protective devices.

Audiometry and Hearing A Titmus II Vision Tester ophthalmic instrument is used to perform vision screening. Tests performed are:

* Far and Near Visual Acuity
* Both eyes
* Left eye
* Right eye
* Stereo Depth Perception
* Vertical Phoria
* Lateral Phoria
* Color Vision A fiber optics perimeter system is available to determine if peripheral vision is adequate, which is a basic requirement for employees who operate machinery and mobile equipment.

Macular function screening is available for those employees working with lasers.

All vision testing is done with corrective lenses, although, vision testing may be performed without corrective lenses as well in order to determine baseline vision and the effectiveness of corrective lenses. The vision test results show how well employees eyes perform, although they do not show the causes of unsatisfactory scores.
